Casa Connecta is committed to making casaconnecta.com accessible to everyone.

Standard applied

We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA — the standard referenced by the European Accessibility Act (EAA, Directive 2019/882). This site is built as a static site (Astro) with semantic HTML, proper heading structure, keyboard navigation, and sufficient colour contrast throughout.

Current status

Our most recent automated audit (June 2026, Lighthouse) returned an accessibility score of 100/100. We test on both desktop and mobile, and across assistive technologies.

Known limitations: some images of founders are decorative and marked accordingly. PDF guides are available for download; if you need an alternative format, contact us.

Measures taken

• Semantic HTML5 throughout
• All images have descriptive alt text or are marked decorative
• Colour contrast meets 4.5:1 ratio for body text
• Keyboard-navigable, including mobile overlay menu (Escape, Tab, focus management)
• Touch targets ≥ 44px on all interactive elements
• No content flashes or motion that cannot be disabled
• Language declared on every page (lang attribute)
• Forms labelled and validated with clear error messages
